The Community Relations Manager (CRM) is tasked with fostering strong, mutually beneficial relationships between AURORAL and neighboring communities to secure a reliable workforce, thereby enhancing AURORAL’s sustainability and viability as an employer for youth and women across its operational footprint.

Act as the primary liaison between the organization and external community stakeholders, facilitating communication and collaboration.

Proactively assess communities to detect emerging tensions or potential conflicts and design and implement effective strategies to mitigate risks.
Mediate conflicts involving the company, farmers, and community organizations to facilitate mutually agreeable solutions.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of all grievances and their corresponding resolutions to facilitate accurate reporting.
Maintain the company’s continued acceptance and legitimacy among all host communities to uphold its “social license to operate.”
Ensure adherence to national and international regulations governing community engagement, environmental and social impact, and human rights.
Engage collaboratively with governmental entities and oversight organizations to address community-specific issues and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
To foster robust partnerships, collaborate closely with the sourcing team to cultivate and sustain enduring connections with smallholder farmers and fruit suppliers integral to the company’s supply chain.
Develop strategic community engagement initiatives, create tailored communication materials, and implement awareness campaigns, utilizing local languages as required.
Prepare detailed reports on a regular basis summarizing community relations initiatives, stakeholder feedback, and the results of various programs for management’s review.
Oversee the company’s public perception and standing in surrounding communities to ensure a positive and respected presence.
Partner with the marketing and communications team to promote community development initiatives across corporate publications and media channels.

Work Location
