JOB DESCRIPTION:
Delivering exceptional Physics instruction to secondary school students within the framework of the Cambridge International Curriculum is a key responsibility. Beyond academic instruction, the role aims to cultivate a passion for scientific discovery, critical thinking, and a comprehensive grasp of the physical universe, while equipping students with the skills and knowledge required for Cambridge assessments and future success in scientific or technological fields.
Oversee and execute a range of critical duties including strategic planning, project management, and team leadership to drive organizational objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure seamless integration of initiatives and maintain alignment with company goals. Monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency. Prepare comprehensive reports, analyze data trends, and present actionable insights to senior management to support informed decision-making. Plan, organize, and instruct dynamic physics lessons in accordance with the standards set by the Cambridge International Curriculum.
• Equip students with the skills needed to succeed in Cambridge examinations by implementing hands-on experiments, employing proven instructional methods, and conducting focused review sessions.
Craft engaging lesson plans that cultivate critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and robust problem-solving capabilities among students.
• Oversee and execute laboratory experiments while maintaining strict compliance with health and safety protocols.
Foster an inclusive, secure, and intellectually engaging learning atmosphere for all participants.
Evaluate academic progress continuously, offering detailed and actionable feedback to support students’ development and improvement.
Partner with team members across science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines to cultivate a cross-disciplinary educational environment.
Direct and guide Physics-focused extracurricular initiatives, including science clubs, competitive events, hands-on projects, and public exhibitions.
Required Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with a strong emphasis on data analysis and spreadsheet management in Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly. Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines. Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. Experience with project management tools, such as Asana or Trello, and familiarity with CRM systems. A collaborative mindset to work effectively in team environments and contribute to shared goals.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Physics, Applied Physics, Science Education with a specialization in Physics, or an equivalent field is required.
Proven expertise in delivering instruction aligned with the Cambridge International Curriculum standards is required.
Proficient in core physics principles and adept in hands-on laboratory methodologies.
