Duty Station: Kong and Exist
Perform an average of 15 to 20 household surveys daily, efficiently gathering essential data through structured interviews and observations.
Conduct thorough analyses of survey data to pinpoint prospective clients whose profiles align with your organization’s target market criteria.
Establish and clearly delineate the designated working zones for each proposed group to ensure efficient and organized operations.
Engage in one-on-one or small-group conversations with identified key stakeholders to explore their needs, perspectives, and priorities.

A designated leader will be appointed to oversee each small group, ensuring effective coordination and guidance throughout operations.
To establish and lead a comprehensive group management committee, encompassing a diverse range of stakeholders and operational leaders. This role involves fostering collaboration, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, and driving strategic decision-making processes to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness. Provide a comprehensive two-week orientation program tailored for members of large groups to ensure seamless integration and alignment with organizational goals.
Collect member admission fees in accordance with the BRAD Ghana circular.
Capture admission details for group members using a mobile phone or tablet, ensuring timely synchronization of the data whenever feasible.
Schedule and coordinate meeting dates, times, and locations to ensure alignment with participants’ availability and organizational needs.
A group must consist of no fewer than 15 members for Microfinance (MF) and no fewer than 10 members for Agra-Finance, while the upper limit is capped at 30 members for MF and 20 members for Agra-Finance.
We extend membership invitations to new participants when existing group numbers decline because of attrition or other factors.
Convene two to three group sessions daily, ensuring comprehensive engagement and effective communication throughout each meeting.
Conducts meetings at scheduled times, beginning with the first at 8:30 AM, followed by a second at 9:30 AM, and a third at 10:30 AM. Adjustments to these timings may be required based on office hours and operational needs.
Arrive at the meeting location fifteen minutes prior to the scheduled group meeting.
Arrange group members into a U-shaped formation, ensuring alignment according to their assigned small groups.
Responsible for accurately recording and maintaining attendance records in the register, ensuring all data is up-to-date and compliant with institutional policies.
Engage in comprehensive discussions regarding loan-related matters and other pertinent issues to ensure clarity and understanding.
Collect weekly installment deposits from designated small group leaders via the assigned small group cashiers, ensuring each transaction is documented with a signature captured on a mobile device.
Upon conclusion of the group meetings at 1:30 PM, the individual is required to return to the office.
Cash received from group meetings held in proximity to a branch must be promptly deposited at the branch location prior to attending any additional group meetings, as a precautionary measure against potential robbery risks.
Employees must adhere to established safety and security protocols during the transportation of monetary funds to ensure compliance and mitigate potential risks.
Ensure that all member loan proposals are thoroughly reviewed and deliberated during group meetings to facilitate informed decision-making processes.
Evaluate and process loan applications by conducting open discussions and taking formal votes with all members present during group meetings.
The credit officer is responsible for accurately inputting all loan-related information, including application details and guarantor data from DP Notes, into the designated digital system.
After confirming the accuracy of loan applications, establish and communicate the disbursement date to all relevant members.
You must be physically present on the scheduled disbursement day to actively engage in the disbursement activities.
A credit officer is expected to participate in weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly group meetings and must prioritize securing the full collection of loan installments.
Cash receipts must be promptly submitted to the Branch Accountant, who will then record the deposited amount in the Daily Cash Report (DCR) and provide their signature as confirmation of the transaction.
If a borrower fails to submit an installment during the morning group meeting, ensure the collection is completed in the afternoon by conducting home visits to the borrowers or their assigned small group leaders.
In the afternoon, commence the collection process for both late and NBL installments, as well as overdue payments.
Professionally reinstated borrowers who have previously had loans written off may be contacted to facilitate the resumption of their loan obligations with BRAD.
Attend the weekly staff meetings regularly to ensure participation and contribution.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports to ensure accurate and timely data compilation and analysis.
Ensure full compliance with all BRAD Human Resources policies and procedures throughout all operational activities.
Demonstrate the ability to effectively complete additional assignments as directed by senior leadership.
Maintain strict adherence to the Microfinance staff Code of Conduct at all times, ensuring that interactions with clients reflect the utmost professionalism and respect.
Dedicate efforts to delivering exceptional service quality to clients both at the branch location and in the field.
